How PRP Therapy Works
During treatment, a small sample of your blood is drawn and processed in a centrifuge to isolate platelet-rich plasma (PRP) a powerful concentration of your body’s own healing factors.
Once prepared, the PRP is carefully injected into the injured or damaged area. The growth factors inside the platelets stimulate tissue repair, reduce inflammation, and accelerate your body’s natural healing process. The result is improved mobility, less pain, and stronger recovery all without surgery or synthetic medication.
What Conditions PRP Therapy Can Help With
PRP therapy is designed to stimulate healing in areas where the body’s natural recovery has slowed down. It’s especially effective for injuries, pain, or inflammation that haven’t improved with rest or medication.
Conditions commonly supported include:
- Joint pain (knees, hips, shoulders, hands)
- Osteoarthritis and mild cartilage degeneration
- Tendinitis and tendon injuries (tennis elbow, Achilles, rotator cuff)
- Muscle strains and ligament sprains
- Chronic inflammation or overuse injuries
- Hair loss and scalp rejuvenation (PRP Hair)
- Skin texture and scarring (PRP Facial)
How Long Until You Feel Results from PRP Therapy?
Most patients begin to notice improvements within 4 to 12 weeks after PRP treatment, with results continuing to build gradually over time. The healing process takes time your body is regenerating, not just masking symptoms. After the injection, the platelets release powerful growth factors that reduce inflammation, stimulate new cell growth, and repair soft tissue damage. As this natural regeneration occurs, patients often experience less pain and stiffness, improved mobility and flexibility, and better function during daily activities. Some people see early changes within the first month, while others experience steady, progressive improvement over several months depending on the type and severity of the injury, as well as overall health.
“I see patients who have been hurting for years finally get relief. Stem cell infusion gives the body the support it needs to heal — and when people start feeling like themselves again… that’s why I love what I do.”
